A frank and honest recollection of a police career spent almost entirely within Hampshire Constabulary. The author held numerous roles within the organisation and worked his way up the ranks before being promoted to Superintendent in 2002. He reflects upon the challenges of leadership and the remarkable opportunities that came his way over the years.
