John Arthur Wagstaffe

1955-1995

John was born on 18th January 1955 in Malta.

On 19th January 1973 he married Vanessa Rosslyn Ingle at Gosport Register Office and had one daughter, Katrina Dawn.

John joined Hampshire Constabulary on 17th April 1974, as Police Constable 1443. At the time he was a Machine Operator for Thorn Consumer Electronics (Gosport) Ltd, Fareham Road, Gosport and was living at 7 Bridges Avenue, Paulsgrove.

He served at Basingstoke, M (Eastleigh)(Motor Cycles), M SWTA Southampton Motor Cycles, Traffic Fareham (Motor Cycles), HQSG Winchester CID, Gosport CID, HQSG ‘O’ (SSG)(Control Room), Totton and Gosport.

John died at Petersfield on 22nd November 1995.
